Unlawful food // Rosbalt - 24.08.15.

The struggle against sanctioned food products has already become a show. It is actively promoted by regulatory bodies and polititians alike, as well as by average men who split into those that support the governmental policies and those who do not. However, the morality argument of burning food products casts a shadow onto the question of the legitimacy of the act itself. Meanwhile, even superficial research into the problem shows that all is not that smooth in that area.

Developing the topic, the Maxima Legal Lawyer Natalia Zelentsova commented once again on the unlawfulness of administrative pursuit of vendors for the sale of sanctioned products, both online and offline. The lawyer supported her comment by stating the recent "Magnit" retail chain precedent, where the issue of a fine to the company, for the resale of french cheese, the Arbitrazh Court of the St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region has deemed unlawful.

Evgeny Druzhinin, the Head of "Real Estate and Construction" practice at Maxima Legal, gave his unbiased commentary as an answer to the reporter's query. The lawyer highlighted that the originality of these edifices will remain intact regardless of the side that will manage them.

The longstanding disagreement between "Rubezh" development company, which is busy with its "Pribrezhny District" project in Lisiy Nos, and the administration of the Primorsky district of Saint-Petersburg will continue in the Supreme court.

The regulatory authorities will only permit the erection of the "Pribrezhny District" townhouse settlement in Lisiy Nos provided that the land is surveyed in advance.

As Evgeny Druzhinin, senior lawyer, the Head of "Real Estate and Construction" practice at Maxima Legal put it, in this case the investor is victim to the contradiction of the federal and regional legislation.
