As a part of development of corporate social responsibility Maxima Legal lawyers support the Bolshoi Saint-Petersburg State Circus in course of the implementation of project related to the organisation of staging of a new circus show.

A legendary clown, Viacheslav Polunin, who has been the art director of the circus from the beginning of 2013 is preparing a new show programme. Maxima Legal lawyers provide legal support during preparation of one of the shows to be held in a new building of the Circus on Fontanka.

Saint Petersburg circus is the first stone stationary circus in Russia opened in 1877. The circus has more than 130 years of creative activity and a great number of circus shows. In September 2014 capital repair and renovation of the main circus building commenced. Viacheslav Polunin in his part described the future of the Saint Petersburg circus after it will be opened: "We will restore both auditorium and number of seats as they were during Ciniselly for the beauty to return back again […]"

Maxima Legal provided legal support to the Anton Tut Ryadom (Anton's Right Here) Centre in course of preparation of an exhibition the Art of Being Right Here held in MMOMA (the Moscow Museum of Modern Art) from 5 March to 5 April.

The Anton Tut Ryadom Centre is the principle social programme of the VYKHOD V PETERBURGE (Exit in Petersburg) Charity Foundation. They have presented the Art of Being Right Here project in collaboration with the MMOMA and Vistavochnie Zaly Moskvi Association. This project included an exhibition and a fundraising auction in favour of those organisations that support children and adults with autistic disorders. Maxima Legal experts made legal analysis of the agreements in course of preparation to the fundraising auction occasioned with the exhibition.

All the money raised from the sale of pieces of art presented at the exhibition will be used to support programmes of the Anton Tut Ryadom Centre of Social Rehabilitation, Education and Creative Work for Adults with Autistic Disorders.

The second infrastructure congress the Russian Private Public Partnership Week was held in Moscow March 17-20. This congress is the largest platform for cooperation of business and state tailored to demonstrate the best PPP implementation practices in various services-producing industries for the purposes of their subsequent implementation in all the constituent territories of the Russian Federation. Under the aegis of the "week" there were held plenary sessions, round tables, panel discussions concerning support of the existing PPP market, development of PPP infrastructure and prospects for launching new projects in current volatile economic situation.

As part of highly topical congress programme legal debate PPP Legislative Regulation: Tendencies and Trends turned out to be of extreme interest for the congress participants. The core discussion focused on the prospects of application of private initiative during the implementation of concession agreements. Vladimir Kilinkarov, a partner of Maxima Legal law firm and the head of public private partnership practice took part in the discussion and told about current PPP regulation problems related to the introduction of necessary amendments to legislation and enactment of the federal PPP law. The legal debate and ranking presentation has already become a traditional event of the Russian PPP Week.

This congress is the only event on this scale dedicated to the PPP market in Russia, hosting both representatives of governmental authorities and leading market players, permitting them to discuss problems, ways to solve them and subsequent development of PPP infrastructure.

FOR Group is the North-West of Russia largest fishing corporation engaged in harvesting, processing and transportation of fish and seafood both for Russia, and Asia, Europe, Africa and the USA.

“Kommersant” newspaper considered introduction of a new tax — on real estate which is in property of natural persons. Experts say that there are two ways of reduction in value. Evgeny Druzhinin, the head of real estate and construction practice Maxima Ligal law firm, in his comment to the newspaper explained peculiarities of resolution of disputes about cadastral values.
