On 26 April Vladimir Kilinkarov took part in a business breakfast organised by the business club Meeting. The event was dedicated to the topic of new ways of developing the tourist industry. The business breakfast was part of a collection of regular events organised by the club. Maxima Legal is the legal partners for the club in 2017. The event was attended by representatives from construction companies, international operators of hotel chains and consulting companies from the construction sector. Vladimir Kilinkarov gave a short presentation and talked to the audience about the use of public-private partnerships and concessions in projects involving hospitality infrastructure.  

Law firm Maxima Legal was one of the successful bidders as part on a tender to provide legal services with a value of more than 500,000 roubles to PAO MRSK Severo-Zapada, an electricity distributor. Maxima Legal was scored highly by the organisers of the tender under the criteria for reliability and qualifications and ahead of the other bidders.

Konstantin Boytsov, Head of Real Estate department at Maxima Legal, took part in a meeting of the working group of the Leaders Club on the topic of improving the business environment in the field of construction and real estate.  The meeting took place on 27 April 2017 in Smolny. At the meeting, the participants discussed various issues related to the involvement of engineering and energy organisations in St Petersburg during the planning permission phase.

Lawyers from the Dispute Resolution department at Maxima Legal are representing the interest of AO Otkritiye Broker in a court dispute for the recovery of losses, arising from trading in the stock, futures and currency markets.

On 20 April in Moscow was the first ‘Infrastructure Test-drive’ for regional projects.  The event, which took place behind closed doors, was at the InfraClub in partnership with Maxima Legal. The moderator for the discussion was Vladimir Kilinkarov, Partner and Head of the PPP Practice at Maxima Legal.  The participants in the session included Myeditsinskaya Investitsionnaya Gruppa (MIG), GK ‘Platnaya Doroga’, Spectrum and A+S.  Regional projects were presented by Oleg Maiorov (Samara region, regional system for the weight control of transported goods), Igor Smolyagin (Bashkortostan, the Centre for Social and Medical Rehabilitation) and Ilya Prozorov (Smolensk region, medical clinic).  The judges who reviewed and commented on the projects included, in addition to those mentioned above, representatives from the company ‘Leader’, Pervaya Kontsessionnaya Kompaniya, Philips, Nefrosovet, VAMED, Gazprombank, VTB Capital, Sberbank, EABP, FTSPF.
