Vladimir Kilinkarov has given a presentation at the 10th International Forum ‘Transport Potential’

On 6 October, Vladimir Kilinkarov, Partner and Head of the PPP Practice at Maxima Legal, acted as moderator for a session titled ‘Projects in transport and infrastructure and PPP opportunities in their implementation’ at the 10th International Forum ‘Transport Potential’.

In his presentation, Vladimir talked about the mechanism of PPP as a driver for the development of the economy in the North-West region of Russia, listed the economic pre-conditions, problems and perspectives for their resolution and analysed the road map for the ‘infrastructure mortgage’.

In the working session, which was moderated by Vladimir, Rivzan Gazimadov, Advisor to the Ministry of Affairs in the North Caucaus, Olga Potiforova, Head of the department for PPP and External Relations Directorate for the Development of the Transport System in St Petersburg and the Leningrad region, Tair Suleimanov, Senior Associate at Dentons, Sergei Ponomarev, Group T-1, Renat Valiulin, permanent representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in St Petersburg and the Leningrad region, took part.

The international forum is a unique public independent G2B and B2B platform where matters on the functioning of the transport system in Russia are raised in the context of developing opportunities.  The event provides an opportunity to discuss with representatives from federal ministries and departments the trends and problems in the transport-logistics sector and the movement of goods as well as to get an idea of the opportunities in new markets and increasing exports.

In 2017, more than 400 delegates from 50 regions of Russia and 10 other countries, took part in the forum.
