Managing partner of the law firm “Maxima – Consulting and Law” visited MIPIM 2013, one of the most prestigious international real estate and investment fairs.

MIPIM is an international fair for commercial property and investment, held in Cannes every year since 1990. The MIPIM real estate fair is the largest, most prestigious and imposing investment forum in Europe. This is a key four-day event that brings together the major players in the sector, from concept developers to investors and end-users. The Russian Federation has been among the four leading countries participating in MIPIM for several years already, along with Britain, France and Germany.

For 20 years, the MIPIM fair has become an annual get-together for real estate professionals, investors, banks, towns, municipalities and regional associations, as well as multinational corporations interested in purchasing property and getting the most out of their contacts with counterparts from almost all countries of the world. The programme of the forum included several sections: stands of participants, panel discussions and conferences.

In 2013 the sponsors of the MIPIM fair welcomed approximately 18,000 active professionals from over 80 countries around the world; and more than 4,000 international investors had an opportunity to assess the development potential of projects submitted by 1,700 participating companies. Special attention was given to topics such as financial innovation and the creation of new working relations between towns and the private sector, as well as the establishment of new macro-level development models for the economic and social sectors and the development of social infrastructure.
