MCL together with Kommersant Publishing House organizes a business seminar Legal Solutions Involving British Jurisdiction: Across Russian and English Law

Law firm Maxima Consulting and Law in partnership with Kommersant Publishing House and international law firm Field Fisher Waterhouse organized a business seminar Legal Solutions Involving British Jurisdiction: Across Russian and English Law.  The leading experts focusing on international and corporate private law, Vladimir Kilinkarov, MCL partner, Maxim Avrashkov, the head of International Investments and International Private Law practice, MCL managing partner, other MCL lawyers, and Arik Aslanyan and Mikhail Basisty, partner and solicitor of Field Fisher Waterhouse, respectively, took part in the event.  

Within the framework of the seminar the most topical practical issues in the area in question were discussed:

•     legal solutions involving British jurisdiction and conflict of laws, corporate and procedural aspects and problems associated therewith;
•     fundamentals of corporate and contract law of England and Wales;
•     entering into shareholders agreements and share purchase agreements under English law.

 As soon as speakers delivered their speeches an animated discussion took place: the participants had an opportunity to ask all questions they were interested in. Comprehensive speeches delivered by speakers and fierce debate over the topical issues were an apparent advantage of that event.
