MCL held a masterclass for students of the law faculty of Saint Petersburg State University

On 5 December 2012 law firm Maxima Consulting and Law held a masterclass for students of the law faculty of the Saint Petersburg State University regarding up-to-date tendencies and peculiarities of legal practice in Russia.

The following persons took part in the event: Maxim Avrashkov and Vladimir Kilinkarov from MCL, an international law firm Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP represented by Arik Aslanyan and Mikhail Basisty, large Russian manufacturing and construction enterprises represented by Victoria Tsytrina Etalon LenSpetsSMU and Julia Bychkova VAGONMASH and Legal Committee of the Administration of Saint Petersburg represented by Sergey Makarov which made the foregoing seminar more practical.

Successful lawyers told about major lines of legal practice in Russia (Russian and international consulting, in-house, state service, etc.), current tendencies in the development of areas of practice, specific character of the said tendencies and areas of practice, knowledge, skills and personal qualities required to reach success in one or another area, shared their own experience regarding the development of legal practice and work in Russia and abroad, answered the students' questions.
