MCL at the meeting of the Governor of Saint Petersburg with the investors

On 20 July 2013 in the Shuvalovsky Palace a meeting of the Governor of Saint Petersburg, Georgy Sergeevich Poltavchenko with the investors took place. The main topic of the meeting was private investments to social infrastructure of the city, namely, using of public private partnership (PPP) mechanism.

At this meeting the legal firm Maxima Consulting & Law was represented by Eugeny Druzhinin, the head of Real Estate and Construction. The main participants of the meeting were the developers (specifically, the Department Director of OOO Severo-Zapad Invest, Eduard Grigorievich Khamaza, the President of Etalon Group Companies, Vyacheslav Adamovich Zarenkov and others), representatives of investment funds (including the Director of Infrastructure Fund Macquarie Russia and CIS, Pavel Sergeevich Nazarov), banks (Director of the Infrastructure Financing Department at VTB Capital, Andrei Andreevich Antonovsky), and social infrastructure operators (the General Director of Scandinavia Clinic, Gleb Vladimirovich Mikhailik). The discussion was held in the restricted format; the investors' questions were answered by Georgy Sergeevich Poltavchenko and Irina Anatolievna Babyuk (the Chairwoman of the Committee for Investment of Saint Petersburg).

The meeting was held in the format of discussion on the implementation of the investment policy in the social sphere by Saint Petersburg. It was noted that there are several PPP projects involving construction of schools implemented in the city and documentation is being prepared to create a perinatal centre on a PPP basis. AVA-Peter company (Scandinavia chain of clinics) is going to take part in the tender on the implementation of the foregoing project.
