Maxima Consulting and Law prevents illegal termination of bankruptcy proceedings against ZAO
In course of legal support of bankruptcy proceedings lawyers of the law firm Maxima Consulting and Law managed to prevent illegal termination of bankruptcy proceedings against ZAO "Nevsky Bereg" - one of the biggest producers of malt in Russia. MCL lawyers successfully sought cancellation of the ruling approving settlement agreement under the bankruptcy proceedings to which this malt-house is a party.
MCL was engaged in the proceedings at issue after the meeting of creditors of ZAO "Nevsky Bereg" which made a decision about entering into the settlement agreement permitting the debtor to postpone performance of the pecuniary claims for a seven year term, despite of the fact that it was knowingly impracticable. Efficient and professional actions of MCL permitted to eliminate the threatening termination of the proceedings in the case, however the bankruptcy proceedings do not end thereupon. In order to have the creditors' claims satisfied MCL lawyers are to endeavour lots of efforts.
