Business-Landscape 2014: A look into the future of investment

On 29th January 2014, managing partner of Maxima Legal Maxim Avrashkov took part in a business breakfast - “Business-Landscape”, organized by newspaper “Vedomosti”.

Managers and financial and legal consultants of the largest banks, holdings, industrial and processing enterprises, manufacturers, and investment companies in St. Petersburg gathered at The Golden Garden Club for the discussion of the political and economic situation and investment climate in the North-West region.

The main focus of discussion was the investment appeal of St. Petersburg, and the factors which stimulate and decelerate its growth. Based on the analysis of the current state of the regional economy the participants tried to predict the outline of its growth in the coming year. Particular attention was paid to the fate of major investment and infrastructure projects and the prospects of public-private partnership.

“The Business community in the Northern capital today realizes itself to be an active, independent force capable of significant influence in the formation of a territorial investment climate. Conducting interactive sessions involving live chats undoubtedly contributes to the development of this process and the harmonization of our interests. We hope that representatives of state powers will join our discussion”, concluded Maxim Avrashkov.
