The Administration of the Kirov District of the Leningrad Region discovered that 21 hectares of forest that is federal property had been illegally cleared and six blocks of the Sinyavinskaya poultry factory had been built on the land. In August Alexander Drozdenko applied to the Russian Federal Government for the transfer of the cleared territory to the category of agricultural land to be retrospectively agreed.

Evgeniy Druzhinin, Head of Maxima Legal’s Real Estate and Construction Department, commented on the situation.
