Maxim Ali has comments on the new penalties for the misuse of personal data

Senior Associate at Maxima Legal, Maxim Ali, who specialises in IP/IT matters, has provided his comments to Shopolog, a portal for e-commence, on the obligations for breaching legislation on the use of personal data, particularly about fines which will been substantially increased from 1 July 2017.

Maxim explained the changes relate to almost all businesses and gave practical advice on what steps should be taken following the upcoming changes in legislation.
