The list of entities having a right to set or adjust prices (tariffs, quotations, rates, etc.) has been corrected

Before Article 424 of the Civil Code of RF established that only state bodies may set or adjust prices (tariffs, quotations, rates, etc.).At the same time a number of federal laws such as the Federal Law "On bases of federal housing policy" or the Federal Law "On general principles of local government organization in the Russian Federation" provided for a similar right for local government bodies which was in evident contradiction with Article 424 of the Civil Code of RF. New amendments have eliminated controversy by providing a right to set and regulate prices to both state bodies and local government bodies.
